Aftercare Information
This page is provided as general information and should be reviewed to ensure it matches clinic policies. Always follow the specific aftercare advice given by your practitioner.
General guidance
After any aesthetic treatment, please follow the aftercare instructions provided to you at your appointment. These are tailored to the treatment you received and take priority over general guidance on this page.
Immediately after treatment
- Avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to the treated area unless advised otherwise.
- Do not apply makeup or skincare products to the treated area unless your practitioner confirms it is safe to do so.
- Some redness, swelling or tenderness is normal for many treatments and usually settles within a few days.
First 24–48 hours
- Avoid intense heat such as saunas, steam rooms and hot baths where advised.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol consumption where appropriate.
- Protect treated skin from direct sun exposure and use SPF as recommended.
- Stay well hydrated and rest if needed.
When to seek help
Contact the clinic if you have concerns about your recovery. Seek urgent medical advice if you experience severe or worsening pain, significant swelling, signs of infection, breathing difficulties, vision changes, or any symptom that causes you serious concern.
Follow-up
Attend any recommended review appointments. If you are unsure about your aftercare or notice unexpected changes, please get in touch rather than waiting.
